rising costs of mental health care

Posted on December 13, 2015 by David's Father

Did you know that in North Dakota, it can cost $225,000.00 to have a child in a psychiatric residential treatment facility (prtf) for one year?

Seriously.  This cost doesn’t include medical services.  It doesn’t include clothing.  Pretty incredible isn’t it?  In the coming weeks, Fighting for Answers will be checking with facilities in other states to see what comparable costs are.   Stay tuned for more information.
