David called. Said he was getting ready to go swimming, and wanted to know if we had sent his life jacket yet. I explained that we just got home, and hadn’t had a chance. I asked him how he liked the place so far. Seems to like it just fine. He said that in some ways it is better than North Dakota.
Since he also wanted to talk to mom, he said he would call back.
When he called back and talked to mom, he wanted to know when he gets to come home. Said he was being good.
It isn’t about him being good for a day or two.
I don’t know what the magic answer is for him to return home. I wish I did.
