hypervigilance is starting to wear me out

Posted on September 25, 2012September 25, 2012 by carl

This constant state of awareness is starting to wear me down.

Having to always be on, and aware of David’s position/location in the house is wearing on everyone.

tonight I caught him hiding a couple of combination padlocks in the couch.  He claimed to have found them on the floor.  He said that Cinnamon  must have put them there.

Cinnamon is our 18 month old cat.  She doesn’t have opposable thumbs…

moving forward, it is time for the night watch.  I think that I will try to do some web development stuff tonight.  The hard part is keeping quiet and still being able to both stay awake, and keep an ear/eye out for David.
