WordPress users, if you are having trouble getting your widgets to stick, try the following:
- Go to your widget menu, – Appearance -> Widgets
Your screen looks like this: - In the upper right corner of your Widget screen is “Screen Options” click it.
Your screen probably looks like this:
- Toward the left side at the top of the screen should be “Enable Accessibility Mode”
Your screen probably looks like this:
- Click Add.
- Now, select the options appropriate for your usage of the widget, and click the “Save Widget” button at the bottom.
- Open a second browser window, and go to your blog. Does the widget show? If not, try again. But, before you do, close all of your browser windows.
Now, your screen will update, and in the title bar of each Widget will be the word “Add.”
