Service Plans… What?

Posted on May 16, 2012 by carl

So since the impasse was reached at our facilitated IEP meeting, we are home schooling him because we don’t think that it is right for the school district to deny him the chance to try his home school before shipping him off to a school in another district that is 58 miles away.

They have asked for something called a Service Plan.  Trouble is, I have no idea what goes in the service plan.  I sent an email requesting more information, but they have not yet responded.

If I don’t respond to immediate requests for information, I am the bad guy.  They can take all the time in the world.

grrr… so frustrating.
